Cuba

At around 150 miles south of southern Florida, Cuba is the largest island in the Caribbean and is blessed with lush green hills which roll down to fabulous beaches. With white sands, turquoise seas and year round Caribbean sunshine, you cannot fail to fall in love with it. With over 250 unspoilt beaches, a holiday in Cuba is perfect for those looking for sun, sea, sand and peace and relaxation.

Tourism is pretty new to Cuba, so don’t expect the high standards of some of its neighbouring Caribbean islands. They could do with Ainsley Harriott popping over and working his magic!

You won’t find seafood on the menu, instead meat dishes tend to be more popular. The Cubans have a sweet tooth for ice cream and we have been told its very good!

Nightlife in Cuba is centred mainly around Havana. There are plenty of bars catering to all tastes, from small cafe style bars to salsa dancing clubs. Enjoy a daiquiri cocktail while feeling those rumba beats or its most famous export – Bacardi.

Cuba holidays are suitable for all, young or old, single or married, you will find as much to do as you want – or you can just lie on the beach doing nothing and soaking up the Caribbean sun with a cocktail in one hand and book in the other!
