Garda

The town of Garda is situated less than an hour from the historic city of Verona and sits on the shores of Lake Garda. The resort has a wide promenade that is traffic free that runs alongside the lake that is full of open air restaurants, lively bars, cafes and lots of boutiques and shops too. In the town there are medieval alleyways that meander through the town and are great for discovering some of the beautiful Italian style villas some of which date back to the 15th century.

The town of Garda is named after the lake and is a great spot for a lakes and mountains holiday in Italy. Fast ferries or paddle steamers run from the ferry point to many of the other resorts on Lake Garda.
