A sleepy village with a rural charm is probably a good description of a holiday in Ovacik . A much quieter neighbour to lively Hisaronu. Infact Ovacik is much like Hisaronu was ten years ago before the latter expanded rapidly. Ovacik holidays are surrounded by pine forests and beautiful countryside with fresh mountain air.
Olu Deniz beach and Fethiye can be reached in around ten minutes by local dolmus, and a twenty minute walk will bring you to Hisaronu, the nightlife capital of the area. Ovacik does have a small number of bars and restaurants, as well as some small shops. For more shopping head to Fethiye or Hisaronu markets and grab some bargains!
