Zante
Zante is a popular Greek Island that is also known as Zakynthos. Holidays in Zante have increased in popularity in recent years thanks to the superb beaches, beautiful scenery and warm welcome from the locals. The north of the island has spectacular white cliffs and caves to explore as well as the famous wreck at Smugglers Cove. The southern and eastern coasts are where the main tourist resorts are.
Zankynthos Town, the capital is very attractive with its busy streets full of shops and restaurants. It is set on a wide bay which has a Venetian castle looking over it. People return for Zante holidays year after year and it is easy to see why.
