Everyone has those niggling questions that need to be answered before booking a holiday. To help you out, we have answered the most commonly asked questions. If the answer you are looking for isn't here, call 0800 0912080 where one of our agents will be happy to help


  1. Our friendly team of travel experts are passionate about holidays. They are all vastly experienced in arranging all types of holidays from B&B’s in Bognor to escorted tours in Ecuador. As we are an independent travel agent we can deals with a huge range of ABTA and ATOL tour companies and will search to find you the best holiday deals available. We are completely independent and offer unbiased advice.

  2. Contact our friendly Sales Team on 0800 0912080 who will confirm the price and availability for your selected holiday. There are no charges for booking with debit cards but credit cards and American Express do carry a surcharge. Your agent will confirm with you at the time of booking. If you are booking outside of 12 weeks, you will need to pay a deposit. If you book a holiday within 12 weeks the full balance will be payable.

  3. JLM Travel act as a retail agent for ATOL protected tour operators. We are also members of ABTA – ABTA Number K0885.

  4. When you book in advance you have a better chance of getting a free child place on your holiday. Child ages vary with operators and destinations but usually range from 2 – 11 or 12 in hotels and 2 – 15 or 16 in self catering apartments.

  5. All our holiday prices are based on two people sharing a room and are subject to availability. Single occupancy of the rooms would carry a single supplement again, subject to availability. Other supplements may be payable if the rooms have sea view or sleep more (or less) than two people. We can check this for you when you call.

  6. All our prices include generous holiday discounts. We can offer further discounts on groups of 8 or more. Call our Sales Team today on 0800 0912080 for further details.

  7. Each tour operator varies as what they class as a package holiday. Some operators include free resort transfers and free in-flight meals. Others charge a fee for both. Last minute holiday deals do not usually include flight meals or transfers. Our friendly sales team will confirm to you what is included when you speak to them.

  8. Your luggage allowance is usually between 15kgs – 20kgs per person. Some operators and airlines will allow you to upgrade your luggage at a charge, call our Customer Services Team on 0845 1550170 for further details.

  9. Our offers are constantly updated. In the unlikely event that the holiday you have chosen is not available we will endeavour to offer you the best alternative accommodation or nearest alternative date

  10. Once you book your holiday, we will email you your receipts straight away. If you do not have an email address we can send it by second class post. In addition to this we will send confirmation from your tour operator as soon as it is received into our office.

  11. Usually package holidays do not receive separate vouchers for the hotel as the details are included on your tickets. Occasionally operators do send out vouchers, and this will be indicated at the time of booking.

  12. Yes we can!   14. Most operators will allow you to pre-book your seats on your flight. Simply call our Customer Services Team on 0845 1550170.

  15. If you book outside of 21 days of travel, you will usually receive tickets via the post around seven to ten days before you travel. If you book within 21 days you will usually have to collect your tickets from the tour operator’s desk at the airport.

  16. We strongly advise that you purchase travel insurance at the time of booking. We can offer you a travel insurance policy for anyone up to the age of 84 when booked with a flight or holiday. To arrange simply call our Customer Services Team on 0845 1550170.

  17. If you are a British passport holder we will advise you whether you need a visa for your holiday destination. All other nationalities should check with the Consulate of the destination country.

  18. We can advise what inoculations are recommended for your chosen holiday destination. We do however strongly advise you to speak to your GP for up to date information.
