suburb of Playa de las Americas.
The resort is surrounded by an enchanting black volcanic sand beach, Playa de
Fanabe, which has plenty of facilities including water sports and a dive
school. A promenade runs between Costa Adeje and the busier resort of Playa de
las Americas
lined with ample shops, bars and restaurants to offer plenty of choice. Home to
the Canary Islands deepest gorge and the historic buildings of its old town of Adeje, Costa Adeje provides a cultural beach location
which is far calmer than other more lively parts of Tenerife, yet within easy
reach of the main area of Playa de las Americas. As a new resort area
there is a high level of luxury accommodation available in Costa Adeje with
both hotel and all-inclusive resort options.
